I have a GB-82 hood but not in mint condition 10 (outer surface has a small scratch which is colored in with a black Sharpie + 2 scratches on outer rim colored in with black sharpie). One of the sides where the screw holds the inner plastic ring broke. I repaired it with a thin sheet of copper and super glue I also used a longer screw to hold it back in place (the copper shim will make the surface thicker requiring a longer screw although part of the screw will protrude out). Now the hood goes on the Contax N85 lens just fine (probably even strong than before with the copper shim). |
