| I was trying out the 28-80 on my nx and it would seem that the focus motor has stopped. I can hear the motor whine but nothing moves. I have read about spinning the focus ring past the stops but I don't think that is possible with this lens as it is not full time manual as the other contax lens are. any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. |

From your description it sounds like a stripped gear. The 28-80 is covered under our 1-year autofocus warranty. Although we are closed for new orders at this moment we are still open for repairs. We temporarily removed our shipping label from our web site but please kindly email us and ask for our address label.

| this lens hasnt been converted yet. do you do repairs to unconverted lenses? |
