|
hi all
finally got out to shoot a (very) little bit with my conurus-converted 24-85N. flat light, grey skies, spitting snow, sharp wind - no matter. here's a few, snapped handheld on my old 1D, not my usual tripod kind of outdoor shooting. nothing special but i thought i'd share here - minimal processing, just trying to get a feel for the lens. i did print one file and was very pleased at the color rendition and sharpness. "richer" compared to my EF 28-70L, as i remember, but it's too early to draw conclusions.
hope to get out with my tripod and full-frame soon.
i do want to say that i'm extremely pleased with bo-ming's workmanship. "impeccable" is the word that comes first to mind.

| Thanks for sharing with us these great images! I think they look really "three-dimensional".

I have seen your pictures under your flickr folder.
Those taken with N 24-85mm lens with typical Zeiss colors: accurate and rich, and the typical feels: more 3D and rich toner.
To me, comparing with Canon lenses, Zeiss lenses provide satisfactory feel and colors while Canon sometimes give more or less disappointments.
Thanks br1,
Frank

Hello
Thank you very much to conurus for their work and make available to all this forum for consultation. In particular I am very interested, and it is quite possible that in a short time acquired a Contax N 24-85mm to my Canon 5DII.
I would like to make a request to the happy users of this lens for Canon EOS converted. I wonder if it is possible that some of these users or maybe some members of conurus made available to all of us some RAW files to show the real quality of this wonderful lens. So we could verify the real quality that gives this slow as it comes out of the camera.
Thank you very much everyone and sorry for my poor English.
Best regards
