|

Conurus,
I tried my nam-1 adaptor and found a glare at the photos when low shutter speed.
I inspect the adaptor and find the collar is a reflective material. I cover it with black cloth then the glare disppear. I think the glare is due to internal reflection. Is it possible to remove the collar and use some black cloth to cover the metal flange. |

| Thank you for your problem report. We are temporarily suspending all NAM-1 shipments and conduct investigation into this issue. We will contact all existing NAM-1 customers when the solution is ready. |

We identified a solution to the problem. We will install black felt on all NAM-1's we have not shipped.
We will contact all existing customers and we will send the black felt lining to you in an envelope. It has an adhesive backing and you may just attach it to the inside of your NAM-1 adapter. There is no need to send your NAM-1 back for service, unless you would like us to install the black felt lining for you.
If you did not directly deal with us, but purchased your NAM-1 from a third party, please email coneos@conurus.com your address and we will send you the black felt lining. |

I installed the pre-cut felt from Conurus this morning, then took over 60 photos with my APO Makro. I took every type of photo from extreme close ups to shots focused at infinity and I didn't see ANY flare. |
