Hi Conurus,
Would it be possible to convert Contax 645 lenses to fit Sigma cameras (such as SD14)?
Thanks. |

| Do you already have a NAM-1 adapter? We will be converting that to Sigma SA mount (SD14 and newer cameras only), starting next month. |

Could you please tell me how much approximately the conversion is going to cost? What would it be the equivalent focal length of a Zeiss 80mm mounted on a Sigma SD14? Would the conversion be usable also with newer Sigma cameras such as Sigma SD15 and SD1?
Many thanks for your reply |

The cost is going to be the same as a Canon mount conversion. Our price list can be found here:
http://en.conurus.com/shop.php
The multiplier of a SD14 is 1.7x. A Planar 80/2 would behave like a 135mm lens on a SD14.
We do not have the SD15 and the SD1 and we are unable to confirm compatibility.
We have not tested this ourselves, yet. We are currently fabricating some new parts right now to fit the Sigma SA mount and this will enter the testing phase soon. |
